This tour covers Nairobi city center, National Museum and the adjacent snake park. This is the only National park in the world located in a city. The park is situated just few kilometers from the capital center of Nairobi it’s the unique wildlife sanctuary but despite its proximity over 50 species of mammals can be found there including four of the Big five, as an option, you can visit the animal orphanage at the park gate where wounded or orphaned animals are nurtured and cared for. Pick up from the hotel in the morning at 7:30am and drive to Nairobi National park for 4 hour game drive then later proceed to Carnivore restaurant for a assumptions lunch. Lake Nakuru lies in the volcano-strewn Rift valley, one of the chains of 8 lakes, which stretch the length of Kenya from Tanzania to Ethiopia. The 160 km drive from Nairobi passes through highland farms before descending the escarpment into the dramatic landscape of the Rift. Lunch is taken in the park followed by an extensive tour of the Lake Nakuru National park which focuses on the bewildering spectacle of million flamingos but which also seeks out the large variety of wildlife with which the park abounds. Leave the park for a drive back to Nairobi arriving late afternoon with sweet memories.
